A guitarist since age 5, I have been around music my whole life. Starting lessons at age 12 with Brandon Durham, I immediately fell in love with studying the guitar. While taking lessons, I started an original band and started entering competitions and contests. I was featured in Guitar Center’s King of the Blues competition in 2005 and 2007, where I was selected as one of the top 9 blues guitarists in New England both times. I eventually ended up at Berklee College of Music where I graduated with a degree in Music Production and Engineering in 2014. Today, I am a member of Mindwalk Blvd and local cover band Down a 5th.  Mindwalk Blvd has combined YouTube views of over 3 million and has won awards such as Best Heavy Rock/Metal act in 2010 by the Boston Music Conference. I have been teaching for 10 years and have worked with students of all ages and skill levels. My lesson plans focus on helping students identify their goals, and work on reaching their goals in a fun and effective way.
